About Me

Friends say I'm honestly refreshing and passionate. I guess it's because I openly share about the time I called the cops when I thought someone stole my belongings out of my car, only to find out I was in the wrong car. Or the time I got stuck in a bounce house and laughed so hard I peed my pants.

I really do enjoy a good laugh while also hitting Truth hard. Having surrendered my life to Christ at 29, I'm now openly addicted to seeing people come to know the personal love of the Father for themselves. I'm also borderline addicted to Dairy Queen, but that's another story. I'm so glad you're here.

I'm an unforseen farmwife in rural Minnesota. Starting out in the corporate world, both my husband and I decided to up and move to his 4th generation farm in 2011.

I always only get large blizzards from Dairy Queen - and most usually I order two. One for then, one for later (duh - it's called wisdom).

I will drop dinner midway through completion to meet a friend. All it takes is a text starting with, "Hey, not sure you're up for it, but..."

Amanda Davison is the Founder and President of the nonprofit, A Wife Like Me. This national team of speakers, writers, podcasters, and counselors, collaborate to serve wives across the globe in their uniqueness, igniting their passion and potential to impact others in their spheres of influence, first and foremost being in their homes. She is the co-author of Dear Wife: 10 Minute Invitations to Practice Connection with Your Husband, a speaker, and teaches at local churches. She is also the visionary behind Awaken, a women's event notorious for ushering in the presence of God and allowing Him to move. She is the wife to a Minnesota farmer, mother of three, and lover of ice cream.
